Drouin Machining and Maintenance is a machining maintenance and engineering business that is situated in Drouin, Gippsland, Victoria - located only minutes from the Princes Highway, the main arterial feeding Gippsland to Melbourne, and is less than one hour from Melbourne.


The premises comprises 750 square metre of working area. A 10 tonne overhead crane traverses the length of the building and the large outdoor area is fully fenced with a locked yard for storage.

The Business has been operating in excess of 19 years providing industry with a range of machining and engineering services.

The Director Gerard Vermazen, has been with the company since its inception and has built his business around the reputation of providing a quality cost effective service to all his customers. On site robotic welding and line boring has become somewhat of a specialty and the company successfully carries this work out throughout the state of Victoria to a wide variety of both fixed and mobile plant and equipment.

The company can also provide hydraulic services including the fact they are a distributor for Enzed, Parker, Waratah, Ryco Hydraulics and has a full hose making facility at Drouin Machining & Maintenance and a 24 hour mobile Enzed Hose Doctor available.

Our services as well as carrying out complete major overhauls of large items of plant and machinery including engineering, mechanical, structural, hydraulic and cosmetic aspects of refurbishment.


SKILL BASE

Drouin Machining and Maintenance has a full time staff of ten personnel with varied mechanical engineering and structural expertise gives the company the opportunity to provide an extremely extensive range of engineering services to its customers and has the capacity to produce in excess of 400 productive hours per week.

The company directors and management team have in excess of 90 years trade experience between them. The expertise attained over that period include Fitting and Turning, Fitting, Structural Fabrication, Heavy Mechanical, Automotive Electrical and Hydraulic.

These skills are passed on to all the staff at Drouin Machining and Maintenance, to both tradesmen and apprentices alike. The very fact that many of the original apprentices are still employed with Drouin Machining and Maintenance some six years after completing their training is testimony to the culture of the company.
